Frequently Asked Questions
The Answers You Need
How can I check on my pet during their stay?
We understand that being away from your pets can be stressful and are happy to provide as many updates as you like. The fastest way to check on your pets is to text Kristi directly and she will be happy to respond with updates and photographs.
What do you supply for overnight boarding? What do we need to bring?
It's always best to check-in directly prior to drop-off to be sure all needs can be met and that we have everything we need to make your pets stay enjoyable. We have a number of crates (for those who are crate trained), dog beds, toys, and feeding/ water bowls.

When you drop your dog off, it's best to bring:
-
Your dogs food (labeled with how much to feed)
-
Any medicines or special treats (such as dental treats they get daily)
-
Slow feeder or special feeder (if applicable)
-
Coats (if applicable and weather appropriate)
-
Collar with ID tags
-
E-Collar with charger (if applicable)

If they require a special crate or a size we do not have available, we may suggest bringing one.
My pet has a special diet. Can their needs be accommodated?
Absolutely! Please bring the food your dog requires, and provide any special instructions. We are able to accommodate most any feeding schedule (our own dogs eat three times per day) and can separate dogs for feeding as needed.
How do we know if this is a good fit for our dog?
We will start with a conversation and a visit to our home. During the visit, we are able to see how our dogs interact with each other and the environment. We will spend some time out in the yard as well as in the home. This is a good opportunity to discuss the dogs typical routine including any special needs they may have. Kristi is happy to answer any questions you may have during the visit or via text/ phone before or after the visit. It's important that we're both comfortable with our home being an appropriate fit for your dog.
